We’re right in the thick of the holiday season—Hannukah has already come and gone, and Christmas, Kwanzaa, and New Year’s Eve/Day are right around the corner! If you need some fresh ideas for what to post on Facebook (and Instagram) during the next couple of weeks, check out these 10 ideas:

1) A festive funny

Try a goofy little comic, like this one that Answer Title shared to their Facebook page.

2) A simple “Happy Holidays” image

Hop into Canva to quickly whip up a holiday image and add your logo. I like how J Carlos Nanez included a personal message in his post, acknowledging multiple December holidays.

3) Pop-By Sneak Peek

If you sent out holiday pop-bys this month, you can follow Treasure Davis‘s lead and post a little sneak peek on Facebook. That way, even people who aren’t currently working with you will see that you put a lot of care into your client relationships.

4) Holiday question

Asking fun questions can encourage people to engage more with your Facebook page. Try one of these questions:

  • “What’s your favorite holiday movie?”
  • “What’s your favorite holiday tradition? Mine is driving around looking at the beautiful lights on people’s houses!”
  • “When it comes to gift-giving, are you Team Wrap It or Team Bag It?”
  • “What’s your favorite holiday treat to bake? (Share the recipe, if you have it!)”

If you opt for the holiday baking question, you could also share a recipe of your own, like Robin Winham of 41 Realty Group did on her page.

5) Tips for managing holiday stress

Paula Quinn Homes shared this helpful reminder to keep your holiday stress in check (and because it’s a video, it grabs your attention a little more than a plain image might!). You could create a simple Facebook video like this in Canva.

6) Holiday craft tutorial

Lisa R Baker shared a fun holiday craft for families to do together over the holiday break.

7) Tips for winterizing your home

This post by Jennifer Mestayer is wintry and has a festive photo (note the tiny tinseled tree), but it’s also a helpful reminder to get your home ready for the cold weather.

8) A festive reminder for potential clients

A simple promotional post never hurts—especially when it’s this pretty. Nice one, Wendy Bjelland!

9) New Year’s resolutions

Ask people to share their New Year’s Resolutions—and to make it even more personal, share yours! I love this post by Claudine Said Realty Group because she did several things:

  1. Asked a question
  2. Shared useful resources (apps for tracking resolutions)
  3. Included a relevant photo of herself to make the post feel even more personal

10) Holiday giveaway

It’s not too late for a quick and easy holiday giveaway! Jaqueline Venegas-Smart asked her followers to like and share her post for a chance to win a $100 gift card.

Happy Facebooking, and happy holidays from your friends at Realvolve!
